What sports are your favorite? Whether to play, watch, coach, etc.
My favorite is Basketball. It'll suck if we don't get a NBA season this year.

Football/soccer. I don't really follow any other sport. I used to play for a local team but now I just play with my friends every now and then.

The most popular sport in the world (Soccer) isn't very popular in America at all. I think it's all cultural that I never picked it up because I'm intrigued by it, but I can't play it for people and I don't know the players at all or even all the rules.

Tied between American Football and Basketball. I played both of them and was absolutely horrible. Although I had a wicked shot in middle school!

Actually, I used to play rugby and hockey in school but I was never that into either. Football/soccer has always been the one.

My hockey days are long gone. I guess I never play it now, but I would if I could.

Did not know beau that you'd coached, also didn't know you played hockey.
We never had rugby in school and we didn't ever really have hockey either. Actual ice hockey that is.

My favorite sports are only football, and basketball. I'm not really the type to always catch games as I only have like 12 channels, espn1 and 2 are the last 2 so that's all I really got to catch up somewhat, sometimes I might get lucky and there be a game on a channel once in a while, but not fairly often do I catch them.
I also was playing basketball for the last 2 years, or so, and I had a pretty good shot, plus I never really played on a real court, just in a graveled area, so it was kind of slick and what not most the time, but I could shoot and hit just about any shot most the time, you know just close, mid, and 3s nothing like half court and stuff, but now days I don't cause all the people who use to come over and want to play all the time, aren't around no more, so I kind of don't even bother unless someone's up to a game, but last time I was out shooting hoops, I had a awful time trying to hit 3's which I only hit so often, but I could have times where I could hit 3 or 4 in a row.
As for football, I can throw the ball, but I'm not to accurate in putting it where it needs to be at times, or overthrow shorter people, or some who can't jump so high, but I play wide reciever, or defensive back most the time. I'd say I'm pretty good, I'm fast enough to do cuts and routes, catch, get more yards after, even tds sometimes, unless I'm tired, which happens after a big long play, or 2.
I can get a couple picks some times, unless the opposing reciever is faster than me, or taller than me by I don't know maybe more than 5-6 inches. Also I rarely play sports, only when someone else wants too, sometimes I'm good, other times I just do okay, and sometimes that's due to me getting tired easily cause I'm a smoker, but I usually tough out tireness for almost 20 minutes, then I just got to take a break for a few minutes.
Also when I play football, I usually only play tag, due to the fact no one usually wants to mess up their clothes, or get hurt possibly.

I played it as a kid, but had to give it up as mum wouldn't pay for me to play because the cost of it went up.
I've coached football the last couple of years and am forever teaching people how to play basketball.

@alex - Field hockey is basically what we used to play in gym class. I don't consider it hockey myself is it's not on ice, but that's me and I can't skate for people.
@chad - I used to be able to make 5/10 half court shots in 6th grade. Now I struggle to make three pointers and even some mid-range shots. I feel old everytime I play.
@beau - I would love to be an actual basketball coach for my kids team one day, but it'd have to be my kids team, otherwise the mothers will think I'm a bad bad man like Rikishi.

I would if they were on my team.
One of the baseball coaches in the league I played for ended up going to jail for child molesting, and apparently that happens often with coaches in these youth leagues who don't have kids on the team. I wouldn't want to be associate with that kinda people.
